Pesto Chicken Pasta

Pesto chicken pasta is a quick, one-pot meal with tons of flavor. Shelf-stable ingredients make it so you can cook up this meal at a moment’s notice.

Directions

  1. Bring 1 ¾ cup water and ½ teaspoon salt to a boil.
  2. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions, stirring often to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the pot (especially towards the end of the cook time).
  3. Remove from heat. A little extra water at the end is OK (it will help make the sauce), but you can drain a bit off water off if it’s too soupy.
  4. Add the chicken, pesto, sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts, and cheese. Stir to incorporate. Add salt to taste.
